Opinions on Fender Superchamp X2?
I consider myself a Blues/Rock N Roll kinda guitarist with an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO and Custom Fender Strat.. Considering on adding this amp to my collection cause it seems to be the only decent tube amp for under $500 and be greater than 10 watts.. so.. what do y'all think?

Hello there,
I cannot see getting a digital modeling/tube hybrid. If you want the digital modeling, you might as well go with solid state. If you want a tube amp, go with a straight tube amp (without all the rest of that crap).
15 watts will be too loud to crank in your house. Therefore you won't get to the sweet sounding natural tube distortion (overdriven warm tubes). That is pretty much the idea behind having a tube amp. For home use, a 5 watt (or less) is a better idea.
15 watts will work in a small venue gig. Probably not loud enough if you have a drummer. It is sort of an in between size (too small for most gigs and too big for home use). You can use an attenuator.
By the way, it is not the only decent tube amp with 15 or more watts of power that is under $500. Take a look at the Jet City 20 watter. That is like a miniature Mesa. One heck of an amp.
