Do not by an older Dodge such as a Dodge Neon, they are infamous for being unsafe and a crappy car in general. Chrysler is owned by Fiat now so the cars are safer and much better quality than when it was actually Chrysler making the cars. You will have to look up the date Fiat bought out Chrysler to avoid buying a POS. Kia's old and new are reliable, safe(much safer than a neon) inexpensive to purchase and repair. My first car was an 01 Kia sephia,it never left me stranded. I now own a Hyundai accent. Hyundai is like Kia's brother company.

Depends on what criteria your looking at. And specific model of cars. Both are technically better than the other. But only In some aspects. Its also due to personal preference whether you want Japanese or dodge. Again if you like muscle cars the. You would go to dodge because KIA has no "sports cars" where dodge has challenger, charger and viper. If you like normal commuter cars then its honestly up to you based on fuel economy and looks. Either than that I say KIA if you like Japanese cars and need a daily driver. And go with dodge if you want a sporty car or hell even a regular dodge front wheel drive commuter car.

It depends on the cars you are comparing.

I would choose the new Dodge Dart over any Kia, but I would choose any Kia over all other Dodge's (besides the dart)
