Mysterious deaths?
So, if I recall correctly over this summer there was a string of odd viscous murders were there was no one else in the house, no signs of break in, and absolutely no evidence. Was this some really weird dream I had and thought it was reality but never looked deeper into it?

Any house in which a "string of odd vicious murders" occur would quickly become the subject of a LOT of media attention.
If you have an idea of where this house is located, you should be able to do a Google search to locate any media reports about odd murders happening in that area.
Otherwise, it was probably just a dream....or you mixed up some TV drama or movie you watched with reality.

Not sure if you were having a weird dream. . For certain spirits like demons are able to kill someone in cold blood. They leave no evidence or traces just mystery.
