If I am committed to a hospital against my will am I forced to pay for the treatment that is provided even if I do not want to be treated?

In most of the U.S., you can't be involuntarily committed unless you are a minor. Minors are not forced to pay for hospital care if their parents commit them for drugs, an eating disorder, or mental problem of some kind.

Unless you can prove the commitment was unreasonable, it will be your responsibility.
