What happens if you don't pay golds gym membership?
First of all I do have money and everything but the thing is I work 70 hours a week and haven't gone to the gym in awhile and whenever I started my membership I put it on a debit card that I no longer use. I've only missed 1 payment but they call me every single day. I do plan on paying it but haven't had the time to put money in that debit card or change the account all together. So a big worry of mine is that they will charge me late fees or do something that will screw me over.

The debt will go to collections. They fact that you no longer use the gym doesn't erase the contract you signed. If you want to cancel your membership, then do so and pay whatever fee that entails. In other words, act like a responsible adult.

It will go to collections. Your credit will be ruined for 7 to 7 1/ 2 years, even if you pay it sooner. You will lose your ability to get any credit cards, most loans, many apartments, any mortgages, or some jobs. The price of your car insurance will go up, unless you live in California. And, in the end, you still might need to pay anyway.

They probably sold your loan to some finance company so late fees and possibly a hurt credit score could come of it.

you signed up for a contract you have to pay it or it can be turned over to collections, it isn't their fault you don't go there, They aren't going to screw you over, you are doing it to yourself
