what does it take to make it into the nba??

hard work beyond what you could ever imagine. As in 12 hours a day of hard work. Develop your skills enough to join an AAU league. Get noticed there. Continue to work, work work, and just when you think you've done enough, work some more. Your not even close to where you need to be. Work on your game enough to become a star in high school and then shine at the ABCD Camps. This will get your name on the map. Earn a scholarship to a Division 1 school and start all over. Work work work work, hone your game. gain confidence. Learn how to play all over again. Allow yourself to be coached. you don't know anything yet. Become a star in college, and enter the NBA draft. Try to make a splash in the NCAA tourney, and at the NBA combine and hopefully you will get drafted.

And that is when the real work sets in. You really have no idea what your going against. This isn't college. Every single one of these guys was a Star in high school just like you. First you actually have to make the team, which is no small task. Once you make the team You need to tune and sculpt your body to be able to endure playing 82 nights+ a year against these monsters. .

And along the way in that journey, youll need a little luck, a stong family support system, and to remain relatively injury free.

There is a reason some really talented players never make it. You need to be able to show those same skills against higher competition. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication that most don't have. I don't have it, but I do know what it takes.
