HP 7520 won't copy?

My new HP 7520 prints just fine off the computer, but when I try to copy some paper text placed on the platen, the paper feeds through but is blank. Happens on black as well as color copy options.

Any ideas?

    The printer bulb for scanning might have blown out or is not working contact HP to send a replacement.

    Thanks, guys, but all it needed was a 'hard reset' per HP troubleshooting page.

    Turn on, pull power plug out for 60 sec, replug → problem gone!
