    I buy discounted prepaid gift cards and pay with them.

    I buy in advance, opportuniscaly and I sit on them for months or years.

    I think I also have a credit card that gives 3% cashback on grocery store purchases. I would use that if I didn't do gift cards.

    However, Im a tightwad without a spending problem. People with spending problems should stick to cash.

    I use my credit card for everything and pay it in full each week. I get rewards for using it and now I am going to get 4% cash back on groceries
