How do we really suicide is such a bad thing?

Update:

I mean, those of us who are alive can't say for sure because we have never been dead. What if being dead is actually better than what we deal with while we are alive?

Thank you for asking this question. A big tragedy with suicide is that it forfeits the future. To be clear, when someone decides to take their life they are also deciding give up anything and everything that happens to them in the future. Possible relationships, experiences, children, grand children and whatever else that could be is eternally lost. No person has the right to judge someone for taking their life; however, the tragedy lies in an incomplete life and a forfeited future.

Please know that there are people who can and will help you with what you are going through. You may want to consider talking with a counselor at a hotline. There are many hotlines that are 24/7 and will work with you and your situation like yours. Some even have email and/or chat if you would prefer.

Hopefully, you will continue to reach out!

Look at life here on earth as a learning, loving school dedicated to a useful life in preparation for our transition from life to death to eternal heavenly life. We are here to learn and love which takes time. Suicide hurts those you love deeply. Not a loving thing to do.

God never gives you pain you cannot handle. Therefore, something like death can't really better than something you experience while you're alive since you have the capacity to deal with it anyway.

That's just my opinion though. Of course, no one who is writing this can know for certain. However, I'm pretty concerned that no pain is worth your life. Suicide - at least to me - is denying that you have such capabilities and strength, overlooking them so that you think your problems are stronger than you.
