Becoming an auto insurance adjuster?

I am currently earning a bachelors degree in Automotive technology management and earning a minor in business administration. Also I just completed an internship at Enterprise fleet management. I want to become an auto insurance adjuster. I know my major doesn't do a whole lot with insurance but my minor does help. Now I was wondering if gettin a minor on finance is a good idea or will it even help me out anymore or if the business administration minor is good enough

If you want to adjust auto property claims, then you are on the right track. Some experience in a body shop would be useful as well, specifically estimating projects.

If you want to advance in your career, take some finance classes, they will not hurt you.

Seriously, get an internship and follow around an auto body estimator for a couple of weeks. The experience will be well worth it and might even land you that first job. If you showed this much motivation and interest, that would be good enough for a hiring manager.

    Good Luck.
