Should the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs ever be released from prison?

I personally think it's barbaric and inhuman sending anyone to prison for the rest of their lives when they're in their early 20s. I know they should remain in prison for a long time but firmly believe they should be released in 20 years or so to give them a chance to make amends to society. Their release should be conditional that they are committed to Christ and repent their sins. Everyone deserves a chance. Who's with me?

And how does one "prove" a true conversion? How does one prove "repentance"?

Perhaps it is just to keep them out of contact with others until such time as their victims come back to life.

Depends on what they did. A true "maniac" might never be released because of danger to others. And it should NOT be dependent on them converting to any religion. If they did that, everybody would "convert" and be out in nothing flat.
