Setup for 3 red eared Slider Turtles?

I have 3 red eared slider turtles. Two are adults and 1 is a youth. I have them in a small aquarium and feed them turtle pellets but I'm going to change that. I'd like someone to tell me the setups for these 3 turtles and everything I need to do. Tell me how big tank, what type of filter, what temperature water, what water heater, what setup you would recommend and really everything I need to know. What should I feed them and how often and how much. Best question will get 10 points. Thanks in advance!

Your other question let me cover tank size. The filter should be rated for a tank 2-3 times the size of the tank you are using it in. Canister filters are usually recommended. 80°F water, 90° basking site. Use an aquarium heater and an incandescent bulb for heat. You also will need a UVB bulb for basking unless you are giving them food high in vitamin D, like liver. Earthwoms and fishes are good foods too. The adults can also have dark green, leafy vegetables and bright yellow an orange ones. De Vosjoli has a pretty good book on their care. Check large pet stores.

If your going to have three in one tank I'd suggest 100 gallons or more.. They get rather large when fully grown. I'd suggest a fluval fx5 or ehiem filter. Make sure the filter filtrates more water than what you have in the tank. There is no such thing as over filtering!! I'd suggest getting a fully submersible heater and a average temperature of around 74 or 75. Your going to need UVB UVA lights for basking for them. Feed them red shrimp or even brand name turtle foods from the petstore.. Once a day is good enough. Give them how much they can eat in about 2 minutes. You can even move them to a different container so they don't make a mess in the huge tank. You should do about 50%water change every week to keep the water clean. For basking you may have to make your own when they are too big for ones to buy on the store..there are many different ways you could make one so just google then for ideas! Hope this helps
