Do I detect a trend in silencing free thought?

Turned in again to the thought police for just expressing my views regarding the church of evolution.

A rant?

no.

defaming or insulting?

no.

i would think people in the church would consider it an honor to be among the faithful.

but trying to silence MY freedom of thought and freedom of speech because as scientific professional, I might be considered dangerous to the established order of things?? I am a marine engineer so pardon the pun when I say 'rock the boat'?

My world revolves around TRUE science. not just keeping machinery running, but calculating volumes, displacement. etc. ( and lets not forget keeping the boat from sinking in that 'perfect storm')

I have 2000 barrels of liquid mud to pump to the oil rig.

my pump pushes out 250 gallons a minute.

I have to pump 16.5 pound (pounds per gallon) of oil based liquid mud through a 6 inch hose 200 feet up to the rig.

I just woke up, QUICK! the rig wants to know how long it is going to take for you to pump the fluid to them! they need to know NOW!

let me get a coffee first.

BUT, people in this forum who rip religion daily, are actually CLUELESS about how the theory of evolution actually works (best guess), and are clueless about the faith of about three BILLION people. and are resorting to terrorism to shut people up who disagree, are a DISGRACE to the very 'principles' they seem to stand up for, letting ALL scientific views have their say. sadly, this is not the case.
