    z=kx/y² where k=zy²/x so, k=(24)(4²)/6 = (4)(4²) =64

    Then, z=(64)(10)/(6²)=640/36 = 160/9 =17.7777777 <= answer

    z varies directly with x and inversely with the square of y

    z = kx /y^2 , where k is a constant

    x=6, y=4, z=24

    24 = k (6)/(4)^2

    24 = 6k/16

    k = (16)(24)/6

    k = (8)(24) / 3

    k = 192/3

    z = 192 x / 3y^2

    when x=10 and y=6

    z = 192 (10) / ( 3 (6)^2 )

    z = 1920 / 108

    z = 160/9

    z = k x / y²

    k = z y² / x = 24 x 16 / 6 = 64

    z = 64 x 10 / 36 = 160 / 9
