How does a ‘peaceful protest’ devolve into machine gun and mortar attacks?

Question

When does a ‘protest’ against an ‘anti-Islamic’ video fuel enough rage to justify an attack on an American consulate?
Was this a spur of the moment thing, or was the protest PLANNED to disguise a terrorist attack on sovereign American soil?
Did Obama and Hillary (and the rest of the white-house hierarchy) go in to damage control and try to cover this up during election year?
I guess they finally declassified the Benghazi attack, as I watched an interview with the survivors. These were navy seal and Delta force who were there to get out the staff.. They could see the telltale signs of a pre-planned attack. 
They spent thirteen hours under a machine gun and mortar attack from ‘an angry mob’?
The FIRST mortars to hit were within a few meters of their target (the defense personnel). Pretty good for spur of the moment crazy mob, don’t you think? One guy had his arm and leg blown off, another almost had his arm blown off, and others were riddled with shrapnel. 
They had to fight their way to the airport (thankfully with the help of pro-American militia), and finally got out of there, but only after four were killed.
This is despicable in the extreme, to cover up a major attack on an American diplomatic headquarters just to save on some votes.
I am fairly certain what the Republicans think, but I need some help from you Obama supporters to TRY and understand his reasoning, and don’t go the ‘its all Bush’s fault’ route. Or are you just as p i s s e d off about this as I am?

People have got to understand that Americans are absolutely not wanted in that part of the world, and if they have to be there then they need effective military protection 24/7.  Someone at the top fouled up.

So now we can't 'blame it on Bush', so I am a RACIST???? stop it with the race card already. I never said obama was 'raised by apes', i am just saying he covered something up to go in to damage control mode ahead of an election, which is despicable no matter who you are.
To defend him in this is just dumb no matter which way you slice it.
As far as The Obama crowd saying ANYTHING about the attack, they said NOTHING about it and blamed it on the protests, which wasn't true (they knew it then).
And an FYI: one of the guys KILLED was a NAVY SEAL, and Delta came in to extract them, not twenty CIA Whether you want to believe it or not, there was Delta and seals PREPPED, and waiting for the word. that didn't happen until it was over. If someone in Washington would have gotten their thumb out at least a few hours prior, maybe people wouldn't have gotten killed.

In answer to your first question, nobody characterized anything that happened at Benghazi as a peaceful protest.  In answer to your second question, the administration did not say that the attack was justified.   In answer to your fourth question, of course they bloody well went into damage control mode.  That's what politicians do.  There were no SEALs or Delta Force in Benghazi.  Those guys were CIA.  In answer to your fifth question no they did not spend 13 hours under machine gun and mortar attack.  There were two attacks, 13 hours apart.

I am so tired of hearing people protest against the hierachy of our goverment. They imply that Oboma was raised by aps. They say that democracy has failed. Thay give every reason to doubt the leaders of the country. Obama has a press confrences and these people automatically turn the volume down, and start spoutiong racual terms. I find it rediculous that my president is ridicualed for no other reason than to discount his race. 
Being President is a difficult job no matter what your background! In todays form of politics it seems impossible to have an 80% support ratings. I commend the leaders... except maybe the tea party loudmouths. Politics!
