how do you go about contacting someone of authority on yahoo answers?

There really isn't anybody with authority ON Yahoo Answers. There are YA staff, but they don't normally come on here. You can reach them by email at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (missing "E" is deliberate). However, you should know that they are there really only for reporting extreme issues on the site, like pornography that won't drop, harassment, multiple account cheating, etc. For more normal YA issues, asking a detailed question here will usually work.

i don't think questions work.. i was reported and deleted 2 mos. ago.. i appealed and have heard nothing.. just happened again and the link to appeal doesn't work.. if an answer is not abusive or pornographic , they should not be deleted simply because you don't like it..seems i have no alternative except to change my home page and drop my use of yahoo.. all other avenues are apparently blocked, thank you trusted members , the site is yours..
