I seriously doubt that. They get reported for being rants or hate speech.

staff are well aware of the various wars that go on in some sections such as Politics and Religion & Spirituality - but staff are also aware that members who don't have anything to do with those sections are correctly reporting the massive numbers of rants and insults as that is almost entirely what is posted in those sections

since those being reported won't have much trust rating, the majority of deletions will be done by members in good standing, not ranters

responsible reporters go after violations, not persons of certain political affiliations

targeting people for political reasons quickly causes that person to lose their trust rating

Staff is well aware of what is reported and deleted here on the site. And they know that the cons report the libs and the libs report the cons, and everybody on any side of the fence reports those on the other side. Most of those reports, though, actually are valid according to staff. Because often the answers are non-answers, rants, or otherwise breaking the rules, anyway.

The only option people have when being reported and removed as violations is to appeal. That's it. People are still winning appeals from time to time.
