Tips to stop procrastinating?

Especially when I just don't feel like doing homework.

Procrastination arises from not taking interest in whatever it is.

For example, I procrastinate about going to the dentist because I am not interested in sitting in a chair with a drill being put in my mouth. (lol). Hence my teeth are in rather poor shape. (I haven't been to a dentist in about 15 years now. It's pretty much too late as far as that goes. I procrastinated too long. I was also a bit mad because the last dentist I went to did low-quality work on my teeth, hence I have a low trust of dentists.)

    Where is your interest?

    Surfing the internet?

(After all, you posted this on the internet. You found time to do that.)

What *do* you feel like doing?

    What *do* you do?

Do you see how it all comes down to your own free will and where you choose to place your interest?

If you want to go to college, that is your motivation to study. If you *take interest* in what you are studying, school and coursework is a breeze, so to speak. Many students get distracted if they try to study with the computer on with the internet staring them in the face. They end up spending hours reading mindless Facebook statuses or watching videos on youTube. If that's the case with you, just use that OFF button on your computer for a few hours a day and use that time to *take interest* in whatever it is that you are studying. Simple as that.
