Wouldn't you say Metal Gear Solid was the greatest PS1 game ever made?

Question

I know bringing up an old console and game but before there was PS4 PS3 or PS2 there was Playstation 1! and back in the days the PS1 was the modern day PS4 I remember buying mine back in 1997.And i played many great games such Final fantasy 7, Resident evil 1 2 and  3 crash bandicoot and many other great games that came out for it.

But i thought the greatest game ever for the PS1 had to Metal gear solid.It was such an amazing game even to this day you could play it and still not be bored one of my favorite PS classics of all time and in my opinion one the best ps1 and games all time.

For the record i have played almost every Metal gear solid game except for the ones that released for PSP they were all great but Metal gear solid 1 to me is and always will be the best in my mind because it was the first one that ever came out.

Personally It wasn't my favorite PS1 game however it was definately one of the best ps1 games for sure.My favorite had to be Final fantasy 7 or tomb raider  but i'd put Metal gear as one of my tops as well.I loved the strategy of the game and how you needed to think things out it made it one of the more unique Ps1 games that ever came out.
