    first write the coordinates shown in the graph. (x,y)

    which are, (1,0.5) , (2,2) , (3,4.5)

    now take two coordinates and write difference in y values and x values.

    x1-x2=1-2=-1

    y1-y2=0.5-2=-1.5

    divide difference in y by difference in x,

    dy/dx = -1.5/-1 = 1.5 that is m.

    equation of the linear line is written as, y=mx+c

    you found m=1.5, substitute it.

    y=1.5x+c.

    substitute second coordinate in the equation, x=2, y=2 (you can substitute any coordinate, here 2nd is easy.)

    2=1.5*2+c

    c=-0.5

    hence, equation will be,

    y=1.5x-0.5

    2y=3x-1
