How long does financial aid usually take to give you your money?

I went on my schools site and i got this,, How long do i have to wait to get my award.

Your award may have been processed on that date, but the date any excess funds may be disbursed to you could be different. At the university I work at, undergraduate students actually have to request their refund, otherwise it just sits on the account. Now I know this is not the same for every school, but I would recommend checking with your schools student accounts/bursar's office. Providing you do have a refund that you are expecting from your financial aid, they will be able to give you a date as to when the check will be issued. Some schools wait 2-3 weeks or so for registration settle down before they issues checks, as kids add/drop classes constantly right when school starts.
