I sweat excessively over my face and whole body... HELP!?

My mum and I have an issue with sweating more so than the average person... I'll be walking with friends and they'll barely be breaking a sweat meanwhile I have sweat dripping down my face and arms... sometimes even my armpits... people have commented in the past that I sweat a lot... I'm not unfit... I walk an hour a day and only weigh 45kg (I'm 20 and female btw). I've asked Doctors about this problem and they've just told me that I sweat a lot and nothing can be done... any suggestions to help me sweat less would be great cause I feel really self conscious about this problem

It's genetic. Sometimes excess sweat can be from too much caffeine (it's a nervous system stimulant). Unless you want to get crazy and spend $10,000 to cut your nerves or laser your sweat glands (with health side-effects and scarring), learn to live with it.

I have the same problem as well. It can be embarrassing...The good news is the more you sweat the healthier you are...so that is looking on the bright side :). There is this product called "Drysol", you can get it at walmart, shoppers...pretty much anywhere. It completely stops your armpits from sweating...seriously. It was a dream come true for me, sometime I rub a bit of it on my back as well to help with some of that sweating. Give it a try!

I think there is a condition out there where people sweat a lot. Could you possibly have Hyperhidrosis? I do not believe there is much to be done about it but sometimes having something to blame it on helps give some peace about it.
