I don't think they do celebrate it. i think it is a sad day in humanity that goes to show just how little some cultures and people think of human life that in taking the lives of those they don't agree with, which some-how makes them think they better human beings. 9/11 is a sad day for all people every-where. we are all so fragile. those people where all some-ones loved family members, just living there lives not hurting any-one. They where just trying to survive.

No-one with any humanity would celebrate it at all.

But many people commemorate it - they pay their respects to the dead, help their families, and do whatever they can to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again.

It's not really celebrating. More like a time for reflection and mourning.

Give respect to the victims and remember the horrible event. They don't celebrate as that's for something good and worth remembering, not a horrible event.

Nothing. There is nothing to celebrate. Reflect, ponder, meditate, feel sad, yes; but not celebrate.
