What Musical "Form" is this? ABCC`DAB`C`DEFGBFGHICC`DEE`?

    This defies simple terminology. It appears to be some kind of verse and chorus structure - that C section keep coming back - and then ends with a coda (built on the D and E sections.) Could be a free-from improv - you went all the way to letter *I* - or you just have not accurately told us what the sections are. Nobody says that ANYTHING has to fit a form - unless you are learning to compose and WANT your work to follow a time-held traditional recipe.

    I forgot where I read this, but according to one source, if the order of restatements of sections defies tertiary form or rondo form, it can be said to be in the "episodic" form.

    I would say that some of Chopin's waltzes are in the episodic form.
