Poll: how old were you 13 years ago on this very day when the towers fell?
i was 5 years old, 3 days away from turning 6. I remember drawing pictures of the twin towers getting hit with planes. 13 years later, now a soldier of the US Army, greatly inspired by the picture and the events of 9/11 to serve and protect my country, land, and people.

44. I was teaching a military history class for ROTC cadets. Three weeks later I was given a combat engineer battalion. Six weeks after that we were riding into Kabul. I retired in 2007.
