Will Penske or Hendrick be more likely to have a champion?
Penske and Hendrick are the best teams in NASCAR now. Hendrick has three drivers that could make it all the way and Penske has both his drivers in the Chase. Kasey Kahne made the Chase, but it's thought he'll be eliminated. Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and the Penske drivers, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano drivers. Which team, Penske or Hendrick, do you guys think is more likely to have one of its drivers win the Cup championship this year?

I predicted at the beginning of the season that the 2 car would prevail, and keep HMS from getting a championship. But it's really hard to tell. I also said Jimmie was "sandbagging" But after seeing Joey get his third win of the season, you never know what might happen. But in all actuality, between these two organizations, I can see Hendrick Motorsports falling prey to the youths of Penske Racing. Joey and Brad are doing it with smiles on their faces. HMS is doing it with aches and pains. I'm riding the Penske Train right through the end of the season and into 2015

I've been torn between the two, but at the end of the day, I have to think that Hendrick has the upper hand. I don't personally foresee Kasey making much noise, but the 48, 88, and 24 have all been unbelievably consistent. As much as I'm pulling for Penske to get it done, I just have a feeling the pressure will prove to be an issue for both Brad and Joey in the long haul.

For Penske I'd say the best bet is Keselowski. Logano is good, but I don't think he's quite good enough just yet. Those two will be tough to beat the next few weeks, but I think Keselowski is on a roll and he's done it before, so he knows what it takes. Gordon has been doing well, but I don't believe he can be consistent enough to win it all. Can't count Johnson out, either, but he seems a little off the pace lately. If Earnhardt wants to be a real contender, he's going to have to step it up quite a bit. I would put my money on Keselowski to take it all. The race at Richmond may have been a sign of things to come.

I'm going for Hendrick...mostly because I want them to win. Hoping Jeff Gordon Wins followed by Jr. But I'd be happy if Stewart Hass had a winner. Would crack me up if Kurt won to show Penske. I don't particularly like the snot nosed kids at Penske. I'm not saying they can't drive. Brad and Joey are just not my favorites. Would much rather see Kyle Busch win. So my picks are 1) Jeff Gordon 2) Jr. 3) Kurt Busch 4) Kyle Busch.

I hope the #20 wins the championship!, but to answer your question It's tough. I agree with josh that kasey won't make much noise but it will be brad or jeff win it. Brads won the most races this season and jeff has one three and is very consistent. So either Gordon or Keselowski.

I'd say Hendrick. Jeff & Jimmie vs Brad. Not to knock Joey, but I think he'd get close but no cigar at least this year.
