How do you know for sure who the moderate forces are in Syria and how can Obama/ Kerry know for sure we can even trust them?
Some people from Syria claim there are NO moderate forces trying to overthrow Assad . They pretty much feel who ever takes over has a very extreme agenda and things will be even worse for minorities. I don't think we have a idea out there that will work. The whole region is destabilized and is going to get much worse.

Yes, Assad says there are no moderates trying to overthrow him. But he's lying, because he doesn't want to lose power.
I wonder, were you just saying a couple of years ago that McCain could tell who the moderates were? Just asking. We've been gathering intelligence.
Yes, the West has destabilized that area. One consequence of a recent f-up by Bush is that there's a group of monsters terrorizing innocent people. Stopping them would be good.
I see you're just mindlessly believing the self-serving lies of the Assad regime. When you mindlessly believe liars, then you end up with no clue as to what is actually going on.
Most fighting Assad ARE moderates. They want a secular and democratic government.
