Actually this is what usually happens when the Democrats are in control.

They talk a good game of helping the poor and the middle class and even throw them a few crumbs.

While they do this they are enriching themselves and their backers at our expense.

So in the end the middle class gets hurt almost every time the Democrats are in control.

I am a liberal, not a Democrat (not the same thing!) I voted for Obama because I saw him as the lesser of two evils, but you know how they say the lesser of two evils is still an evil. 8^<

I feel vindicated in my choice. I do think Obama's done a MUCH better job overall than McCain or Romney would have done. But yes, I'm also disappointed that he as more or less signed on to the 'war on the middle class'. 95% of his recovery has gone to the top 1%. At least the job situation has improved considerably.

I have said it before and I will say it again; most wealth is invested, so when stocks, bonds, or other investments increase, those WITH ASSETS see an increase in wealth. Only 50% of Americans are investing, so the other 50% are always going to complain about the RICH!!!

I'm 'upset' at republicans who whine about Obama being 'just like a republican' because republicans in congress filibustered 505 pieces of legislation that helped all Americans in the past 6 years. If you wanted Obama to do something different from the previous admin's 8 years of failed republican policies, you should be outraged over the actions of republicans in congress.
