Does your period cease under water?
When i was about 11, I mentioned it would be embarrassing to get your period while swimming to an older friend. She said that's impossible because your period stops when you're in the water. I always wore tampons in the water, so I never knew, but it seems like it might be true, when I'd take out the waterlogged tampon it seemed to take longer for my flow to be heavy again, and if I swam a lot my period seemed to last longer. I never tried it with a full on period and never wanted to. Is it true that you won't bleed in the water?

Try it when you bath, and see. I think during a heavy period, you might find you do leak. And there is always that walk to the changing rooms, when you are out of the water, that could be problematical.

Absolutely not.
This is an old myth and i really want to meet whoever is spreading this garbage.
It's physically impossible for it to stop in water.
It's NOT TRUE. At all.
Going swimming on your period without a tampon or menstrual cup is a recipe for disaster.

..that isn't true at all and you might have a red fog behind you in the water when swimming, so you better use a tampon or avoid swimming during your period at all. It will come out for sure and you better don't listen to such a garbage anyone might tell you..

It doesn't stop, no. How could your uterus know that you are swimming and stop shedding the lining?
I'm concerned that your tampon is waterlogged when you take it out though - I think you need to push it in further.

You are just a stupid asshole. It would take you 40 minutes or less to find out the answer on Google search or look up a textbook.
