What is special about a 2010 Dodge Journey Transmission change/flush?

I have a quote from my dealer for over $200 and one from the local quick oil change location for a little over $100. I even called a garage that specializes in transmissions and they said they don't even touch the Journeys. Any ideas why? Is the process special or just the fluid they use?

I don't want to go the $100 route and cause a big mess but dealers are known for charging SRP (which is fine) but not all 3rd party options are bad just because the price is lower.

The only special item is you shouldn't have it done. Flushes do not give it a new transmission filter as is done when the fluid id changed!

depends on the transmission used in it three different transmissions with three different possibilities for fluid. find local shop at ATRA.COM for estimate
