How much does he weigh? How much are you feeding him now? What are you feeding? Is he currently a healthy weight? Correct Labradors range from 60-80 lbs and have varying body types, activity levels, and metabolic rates.
Assuming he is eating a high quality kibble, the rule of thumb is usually 1/4-1/2 C per 10 lbs of body weight, per day, divided into two feedings. If he is getting fat on that, cut back, if he is getting too lean, add more. So that guideline could have him eating anything from 1 1/2 to 4 cups a day depending on the nutrient density of the kibble and individual factors.

Dude, just feed him food. If he gets fat, take him for a walk. Do you portion your food? No you don't. Let him eat until he's full once a day, and take him on multiple walks.

It realy depends, how active is he, how much does he weigh, under/over/ideal weight and brand (high or low quality, high protein etc.)

Dog food isnt enough as he is still young. He needs some vitamins from fruit give him grapes and raisins. And add Xylitol to his food for extra energy.
