Yes. You will likely need to work in a larger laboratory where they have sufficient people to allow each section to specialize rather than to have each employee fill many roles. Even then, you will need to research the specific duties of that position at that agency, since it varies greatly between different departments.
Forensic Psychologist, Chemist, Firearms Analyst, Fingerprint Specialist, Document Examiner, DNA Analyst, etc.
Even if you do not come into direct contact with bodies, you are still likely to encounter unpleasantness. Evidence may have blood or other bodily fluids on it. Crime Scene photographs and police reports are often graphic. Living victims are recovering from what may be the worst time of their lives.
