day z wont start correctly?
every time i launch day z on dayz commander it loads, and then it takes me to the arma 2 main screen

Do you have it installed through Steam? When's the last time you played the game? In case you haven't heard, Bohemia Interactive stopped using Gamespy and is now using Steam to launch all of their online games. You can activate your product key on Steam via the Steam Key if this is your issue. Also check your DayZ version and make sure it's up to date.

Try consulting the makers of the dayz commander. Try looking up tutorials on youtube. But my best guess would be, incorrect installation or corrupt file.
