So I recently became homeschooled and there is this girl I really like. She is cute and when ever she tbh's me on anything she uses heart emoji and says that I'm really nice and funny. I'm in 9th grade and I asked her out but she said that she was busy that day. Should I try again? How? She is a bad txter so I called but how to i keep in contact if she doesn't txt well?

What i learn over from many relationships and friend relationship is to make sure you have confidence and to ask her in person rather than in text or call because it just seems kinda lame. Don't be nervous but don't be to aggressive when you ask. Something along the lines of "hey we've been friends for awhile but i want to be more than that, Would you go out with me?" then set a date for your first date or something

I don't think you can tell much about this girl by the way she's acting right now.
If she's a bad texter, you can try talking to her on skype calls or on the phone, or ask her to meet up somewhere.
Just casually bring up the date that she's cancelled: something like "Hey, you free next Sunday? Do you wanna go out with me?"
