Would Floyd Mayweather ever agree to fight Genady Golovkin ?

If so, who would win and how would they win ?

This is preposterous! Archie Moore, Jersey Joe Walcott, George Foreman and Bernard Hopkins are a rarity. And winning world titles at advanced age is the only distinction that they can lay claim to Why would an already well accomplished champion boxer as Floyd Mayweather Jr. try to duplicate what they did? What profits Floyd?

If this same question will be asked of Manny Pacquiao, his fans and defenders would surely say, yes, if GGG would go down to Manny's fighting weight.

Why is it okay for Manny to ask GGG to go down to the welterweights but not Floyd to demand the same? Both of them started from the lower weights in their teens. Both are fighting at welterweights spotting most of their foes by at least 10 pounds by fight time.

This is crazy if you want Floyd to climb all the way up to 160 to fight GGG.

But sure, Floyd would agree to fight GGG if GGG goes down to the welterweights for it. Much as Manny would agree to a fight with GGG if GGG goes down to 147.

GGg needs a big fan base and come off a big win with a title. Floyd will make sure they fight at a catchweight, wears pillow gloves, bigger ring, and other conditions that ggg has to agree with. Ggg would be like dlh was 147 during the pac fight a dead man walking making it easy for floyd

Never. For Floyd fighting GGG at 154 is a fkng suicide.

At 154, it's a BIG maybe. I would like to see it but at 160 lbs, there is no chance. Floyd is the best without question, but there is such a thing as too big. Skills will not always prevail. Golovkin is too strong, too powerful, too big. He is also considerably younger.

Most likely not at this stage of his career. He's almost 38 years old , while GGG is just a growing kid and the weight difference is too great for one to go up and the other come down.

For what? Golovkin hasn't done anytning to earn a fight. He JCC stalking and pressure style at this point he can beat Mayweather

They are in different weight classes so it doesn't make sense for them to fight even if it were at a catch weight. GGG should be looking to fight Canelo, Cotto or Andre Ward if he wants money fights.

PBF doesnt fight anymore. Floyd then was surely pretty in the ring establishing himself as one of boxing's elite, facing dangerous foes left and right. But he was now replaced by "Money" as the face of boxing. The name speaks for itself. Floyd just doesnt want that too high of a risk.

Very unlikely, Floyd won't even agree to fight Pacquiao, whom he would most likely beat easily, the odds of him going up in weight to fight yet another young, talented slugger are slim and none.

Sure, if GGG gets himself down to welter. And then Mayweather would beat him like he has his 45 other opponents.
