My dad gave me his old trek madone but I want a new bike and his is like ten years old and it is really ugly and has stupid pettles that need only one kind of shoe that is also really ugly is the denali gmc faster than my dads old bike it must be because he could never keep up with my brother's ugly fixy bike and it is not made by a car company cars are faster than bikes I need a fast bike to get to work and to school how much can I sell my dad's trek madone for

Furthermore...a GMC Denali is NOT made by a car company.  It's made by Kent bicycle.  About as low as it gets.  If you don't like the PEDALS currently on the Trek, simply swap them out for platform type ones.  Cost about $20.  Wow...amazing!

Comparing even a new GMC Denali to a 10 yr. old Trek Madone is like comparing costume jewelry from a dollar store to the queen's crown.  Not even close.

That old Madone is 50 times the bike that that Denali would be.  Ten years old is not that bad for a quality bike like that.  Buy new pedals and don't worry about how it looks.  That piece of junk Denali will weigh about 30 lbs and fail in 3 months if you ride it much.

A Trek is a MUCH better bike than a GMC Denali.  Ask anyone who's into bicycles and they'll tell you that you should stay far away from bikes named after cars.  OTOH Trek is one of the best brands in the world!  Check the weights of the two bikes and you'll see!  But also the Trek has better, longer-lasting components.
