What if we legalized Cannabis?

Probably nothing special. Not that I am opposed to legalization, but contrary to the opinion of the average stoner cannabis is not the uberplant that can cure every illness and fix every little problem in the world. If it is legalized it would likely be used as a recreational drug like alcohol and little other mainstream use. Also, if it was legalized what makes you think everyone is gonna start growing their own for all these magic uses? Why do you think we have bosses and landowners? People would much rather leave production up to those with the time and resources while they work their 40 hours and buy the product.

We have no say over what other countries legalize. More states are looking at legalizing it for recreational use this year. However, it's not a solution for all problems- there are still laws about the age at which one can use it, and so there's still a black market for underage users.

When cannabis was legal, all the usual human problems still existed. But people did have alternatives to drowning their sorrows in alcohol.

Next, legalize opium smoking and coca leaf tea!

People who don't deserve to go to jail or prison for smoking a plant would be free. It should be legal and will be.
