The problem is that Yahoo probably DO have the intention of posting your question (at the end of the question they want as many questions/answers as possible so that they can persuade advertisers that Y!A is a site worthy of an advertising campaign and so to get ad revenue which is their source of income).
The problems is that there are glitches that pop up and one of those is one which is hiding questions,. and hiding a lot of questions as of late. It's most likely that Yahoo doesn't want to hide them anymore than you want them hidden either.
The site has always had glitches in the near 8 years I've been around so it that respect it's not new..... it's just that the glitches change all the time.
Hold tight and they will get it fixed.... at least that's the norm.... but it can take more time to fix than is normally expected on another site.

Yahoo can't tell you if they have no intention of posting your question, because they don't KNOW that is happening. It is usually due to a glitch, sometimes due to the prefilter that they use to keep some inappropriate content off the site. All you can do is check whether it posted, and if it didn't, try adding an update or 2 and see if that makes it post. For many users, it does.
