Are there any animals (besides service animals) who can accompany their owner most places?
I know technically you aren't allowed animals most places. But I know small "purse" dogs are a bit of an exception, sometimes small, well trained parakeets.... anything else? I am not going to run out and purchase this animal. I am just wondering after remembering that my bunny (yeaaars ago) would love to sit in an old arm sling and we would take him everywhere that way (he legit loved it. He was a weird cuddle-bunny/lap bunny.)
My question is about the animal. I know most places have a rule against animals. But there seems to be an exception when it comes to some animals. (especially the smaller ones like birds and bearded dragons)

Any place that serves food - grocery stores, restaurants - prohibit animals for health reasons, other than certified service dogs. Pet stores generally allow animals. Most places that you see that have people there with pets have sneaked the animal in, which is not the same thing as allowing them. Not everyone likes pets - some people are allergic to them as well. Stores do not want to offend their potential customers - there is no reason that a dog needs to go shoe shopping with it's owner (legitimate service dogs are the exception of course). Leave the pet at home.

Some hotels are pet friendly. Parks are pet friendly for the most part. Unless your pet is trained to be a service animal and certified you cannot take him/her places.

No pets means no pets. The rules apply to everyone, no matter how well behaved your pet may be or how well you hide it. If the pet is found, you can be kicked out of the store.
Some stores do allow pets, so you could bring your pet there.
