Question about calories/food volume consumed and bowel size/function?

So say there are two males of similar body composition. The only difference is one is highly active, and 2500 calories is below their caloric maintenance level, while the other is extremely sedentary, and 2500 would give them a caloric surplus. They both, however, eat 2500 calories of the same food. Would the active one have smaller bowel movements or problems with constipation, and if so, why?

    Depends heavily on their diet.

In most cases, the active one uses all available calories, but the amount of indigestible material(fiber) determines the size of bowel movement. Even sedentary people use most of their calories from their intestines. They just get stored as fat.
