how much money do parakeets cost and where is the best place to get them from?
I already have a pretty big tall cage and and some toys. And they sell a ton at the pet-co near my house but I don't really like the idea of adopting pets from a store

I have had so many budgies in the past.We usually got them from private owners and they never made it. Then finally I went to Pet Smart and got two new parakeets. I currently have had both of them for over a year and they are PERFECT! They cost anywhere from 20-25$

Check out petfinder dot com to see if there are any birds in dire need of adoption.

They cost around $20-30, you can buy a hand reared budgie and cost cheaper too! :)
