How to lose fat without getting a thigh gap?

I heard that you can't lose fat in one area. But, is it still possible to lose fat without getting a thigh gap?

    Yes. Lift weights. Build muscle. Muscle can fill out the inner thighs preventing a thigh gap. A couple good beginner routines are starting strength and stronglifts.

    ....obviously. Your body type and body shape determine whether or not you can have a thigh gap. For example if you're pear shaped, chances of getting a thigh gap is slim. I'm naturally muscular and slim, I don't have a thigh gap and I never will because my legs are so toned
