Don't worry too much about it. I've received 4 violations and nothing has happened besides my appeals being ignored or taking weeks to have the question put back up.

Ignore it as it is only 10 points you lose and violation appeals are never answered and you lose another 20 points and can get your account blocked, Good Luck

it will tell you in the e-mail you received about the violation, there will also be a link to appeal the violation in that e-mail

There are troll hit squads that target questions or answers that do not comply with their ministry of Vice and Virtue. I guess they got you.
