If Manchester United were a car?

Not buying a quality defender is really going to cost this year, Chelsea and City will be the top 2. we just have to try and stay in contention for the top 4 till January. Not going to be easy.

Also did anyone else get distracted by that piece of string in Lampard's hair?

    Agree.

We've improved our attack even further.

Our wingers were the weak point in our attack, but Di Maria fixed that, so our attack is now pretty much complete.

Midfield has been a problem for ages and is now fixed, but we could do with cover for defensive midfield and central midfield (Fletcher is not good enough, but maybe Nick Powell can cover central midfield).

Lot of players and new ones have been bought in, so our overall squad is much stronger, especially in attack, though I do think some more players need to leave e.g. Cleverley (I know he's out on loan).

I didn't know our defence was that crap.

Defensively, I think we need a top class centre back and cover for right back.

IF we do all that, then we should be fine for a while, because our players at decent ages (not many over 30).

HOPEFULLY, we will stay in contention for top four by January.

Signing a decent centre back on loan isn't a bad idea, until we sign one permanently.

What annoys me here is that the fans think money will fix their problem once they buy a good centerback... The club should have been prepared! They should have done it in the transfer window, they could help but they got their luxury buys instead. Sorry I do not think Man utd is re-building the proper way. Baby steps, that's what it really takes.

I thought I was the only one who noticed the string in his hair and wanted him to brush it out or something :@

It's especially not going to be easy when you eventually play a decent side.
