Tips to get homework done faster?

And just to stop procrastinating in general, remember things better, and study tips?

Thank you and God bless!!

    Here's my stock answer:

If you *take interest* in what you are studying, things get into long-term memory very easily.

On the other hand, if you think of studying as a 'chore', nothing gets into long-term memory.

Also, attempting to study with the computer on with the internet staring you in the face is a huge distraction for many students. I just turn off all the modern-day technology (computer, internet, cell phone, TV, etc.) for a mere two hours a day and use that time to *take interest* in whatever it is that I am studying. Once done, *then* I am free to turn all the distractions back on again.

Procrastination actually arises from a lack of interest. For example, my teeth are in poor shape because I am not interested in sitting in a dentist's chair for hours (which is what it will take now), hence I procrastinate about it.

You want to get things (homework) done faster because your interest is actually on something else, I think. However, sometimes homework assignments can be lengthy and there is no real way to get those assignments done faster. You just have to devote time to getting the work done. When I was in college, I recall being assigned just ONE mathematical proof. It actually took me two days to figure it out (probably eight hours of working on it over two days, and it was just ONE proof).
