My friend said my mood swings were so intense that she was scared of me?

I don't know what to do. I go from a high to a low so quickly. When I'm low I become so quiet. I can't get myself out of it, even if I try to b happy. Then the next day I might b so happy and fun to b around. A friend said she was scared to b around me. Recently I have been really moody.. It is often correlated with exams, or serious trauma. I don't want my friends to b scared of me. I also have serious anxiety.

I'm no doctor, but maybe it would help if you take a pause from impulsiveness. When you suddenly have an extreme feeling about something and you feel agitated to react, pause, watch your breathing and assess the situation, respond don't react.

So, when for example something intensely irritating just happened and you want to explode, watch your body gestures, feel your facial expression, are your shoulders raised, are your muscles tightening up and you want to reply with hateful words? Bring back your posture and deep breathing watch that immediate uncontrollable mood and watch how unconsciously you have been controlled by it and in a way possessed by your impulses. Decide on a response that will bring a solution instead of a reaction that will make you feel better or smarter than the offender. Aim to have peace in an attempted conflict. Don't speak when it's coming from agitation, there is always a wiser way of taking care of a situation, "choose" that, so when a difficult situation comes you would not have regrets.

Use the relaxation methods at http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/mindbody/a/Meditat...

or www.wikihow.com/Meditate or https://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20... They will enable you to emotionally centre yourself, when practiced regularly, and can also help you become a person who is less influenced by the words and behaviour of others. Learn them at least a few hours apart, and preferably on different days, in the morning, or early afternoon. Use the one you find most effective. A minimum of 10 mns is recommended; 15 is better, and 20 is ideally preferred.

Hypnosis is merely a heightened state of suggestibility, in which you are better able to communicate with your subconscious mind; view http://myfavoriteinterests.com/hypnosis/ about what it is, and isn't.

85% of people are suggestible to some degree; 15% - 20% highly so, and 15% - 20% aren't much at all, so you could either preferably seek professional hypnotherapy, or, if not an option, hypnosisdownloads.com has ones about controlling your emotions. Professional advice is to use preferably only 1, or a maximum of 2 at any one time.
