She likes me but doesn't wanna date?

Ok so I really like this girl and she likes me back. Well at least that's what all her friends say when they talk to me. But I've also known this girl for the past 8 years. Her friends say she's way too worried about destroying our friendship if we ever broke that she doesn't even wanna try dating. She really doesn't wanna lose me. What do I do?

    She likes you as a friend, but is not attracted to you. Accept it. If a girl wants you, she goes for it. Friendship doesn't stop them.
