'Iblis' or 'Iblees' is the chief of all the devils, who was so given the name which in Arabic means 'One who have lost all hopes', after he was cursed by God, for betraying Adam and Eve into eating the 'forbidden fruit'. Though the story may sound a 'myth' but its not, but real.
