if you're a Knicks fan will you be surprised if Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher dont lead the knicks to a championship in the next few years.?

  • I won't be surprised if they don't win a championship in the next few years. Wel know that the Knicks' only good player is Carmelo. I mean, Jose calderon is better than Raymond Felton, but it's not really gonna affect the team that much. Also, they just traded their only best center to Mavericks so there is not much defense. If you compare that with the Cavs, the Cavs would demolish them. I hope that the Knicks get someone good in the future and they win a championship eventually, but I just don't see it happening in the nest 2-3 years. But if they work hard, I'm sure they can win it.

    P.S. I'm a knicks fan

I don't think many Knicks fans expect a championship. What they do expect is a foundation for a hard working team that can compete. With Carmelo, the team always has a chance to win a championship if the right system and players are around him. I am a Knicks fan.

  • I may be on the least popular side with my answer..but yes id be surprised..Derek Fisher is a first time coach..but Phil is synonymous with success..everywhere he goes success follows him..he and Pop are the top 2 NBA coaches in the history of the league..im sure Fisher is smart and influence from Jackson will give him a better/easier year than Kidd's first year as a coach..I predict NY to have a better record than the Nets did last year.

Phil isnt going to put up with JR Smith's BS antics..Carmelo has even higher expectations..Calderon>Felton..people are looking down on NYC...but i think they are darkhorse team this year..it can be very excting..plus with Phil in town..he will mold THJ into a beast..last season THJ played very well..even times better than JR..with Phil Jackson there..Tim Jr may become one of the best SG/SF in the league.

I'm sure most would be surprised if the Knicks make it to the 2nd round. They are (at best) a fringe playoff team and will be for the next few years

  • No. I would be surprised if they did win. They just aren't good enough. A big free agent could change that, but I'm not expecting it to happen.

I would be surprised if they win a title as long as they have Melo as their best player.
