Tips to "get over" her?

I fell hard for this girl...Like i liked her a whole lot. Then one day, she says "my boyfriend"...Ouch. A small part of my world kind of exploded. Her bf lives far away too, so I have never seen him. Only heard of him. Then when we added each other on social media after a few weeks of talking and hanging out, I saw that she was in a relationship

Any advice on how to get over this girl? I've tried studying more, doing what I love more, but shes stuck in my mind white on glue.

    This is going to sound harsh but the first thing you need to do is to stop feeling sorry for yourself, I can guarantee that every time you think about this girl you are thinking.. ''but why not me'' .. ''I could give her more''
